BASIC GAME RULES
CAN VARY FROM EVENT to EVENT

BEHAVIOUR:
WE OPERATE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON OUR SITES. POOR CONDUCT, CHEATING OR ANY ACT OF VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND YOU WILL BE BANNED WITH NO REFUND.  THE MARSHALS WORD IS FINAL AND ARGUING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND REMEMBER GANGSTA CITY IS NOT A HARDCORE MILSIM. IT’S ABOUT HAVING FUN AND GETTING INTO CHARACTER. ANY BAD CONDUCT WILL RESULT IN THE PLAYER BEING REMOVED AND POINTS LOST FROM THEIR TEAM. IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS INFORM A MARSHAL IMMEDIATELY, NOT HOURS LATER WHEN NOTHING CAN BE DONE!

HITS:
A HIT IS CLASSED AS A DIRECT STRIKE FROM A BB ON ANY PART OF THE PLAYER’S BODY AND THEIR EQUIPMENT INCLUDING THE WEAPON IN HAND. OVERKILL WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ALONG WITH BLIND FIRING WHICH WILL RESULT IN THE PLAYER BEING REMOVED FROM GAME.

SCANNING FREQUENCIES / RADIO COMMS:
RADIOS ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF ANY EVENT FOR ALL TEAMS. SCANNING FOR TEAM FREQUENCIES IS CLASSED AS CHEATING. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE EVENT.

BANG RULE:
WE DO NOT ENFORCE THE BANG RULE, BUT YOU MAY USE IT AT YOUR DISCRETION, WE DO HOWEVER EXPECT COMMON SENSE AT CLOSE RANGES! 

​

MEDIC / RESPAWN:
YOUR MEDIC WILL HAVE A NEOPRENE BAG. THE BAG CONSISTS OF 2 CHIPS - RED AND GREEN. WHEN YOU ARE SHOT RAISE YOUR HAND & SHOUT HIT. YOUR MEDIC WILL PRESENT IN FRONT OF YOU A BAG WITH THE CHIPS IN IT. IF  YOU PULL A RED CHIP YOUR ARE DEAD AND YOU NEED TO RE-SPAWN AT YOUR NEAREST TEAM FLIP CARD BUILDING. IF YOU PULL A GREEN CHIP THEN YOU ARE BACK IN PLAY AND CONTINUE THE FIGHT. BAGS WILL BE CHECKED BY MARSHAL / PLAYER MARSHAL AT REGULAR TIMES FOR CHECKING OF THE CHIPS. YOU CAN ONLY BE MEDIC’D OUTSIDE OF A BUILDING!

IF YOUR BUILDING IS UNDER ATTACK THEN YOU RE-SPAWN AT ONE OF THE BUILDINGS THAT YOU HAVE CONTROL OF WITH THE DESIGNATED FLIP CARD OF YOUR TEAM. GRENADE KILL IS INSTANT KILL AND YOU CANNOT BE MEDIC'D.  - DEAD DON’T TALK!

COVER & GRENADES:

HARD COVER RULE APPLIES - IMPACT GRENADES MUST BE THROWN UNDER ARM. ANY PLAYER IN A ROOM IS DEAD UNLESS BEHIND HARD COVER. HARD COVER IS CLASSED AS A PHYSICAL BARRIER BETWEEN THE PLAYER AND LINE OF SIGHT OF THE GRENADE -  I.E,  A WALL, NOT HIDING BEHIND THE PLAYER IN FRONT OF YOU! RIOT SHIELDS ONLY KILL THE GUY HOLDING THE SHIELD. SHIELD MUST BE DROPPED AND LEFT. ONLY LAW ENFORCEMENT CAN USE RIOT SHIELDS.

HVI:

A HVI (HIGH VALUE INDIVIDUAL) IS A KEY PLAYER WHO HAS A CHARACTER ROLE. IF THIS PERSON IS KILLED, THAT CHARACTER’S ROLE IS FINISHED. HOWEVER, YOU MUST GET PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE OF YOURSELF OR TEAM WITH THE HVI PLAYING DEAD. THIS MUST BE SHOWN TO A MARSHAL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO GAIN IN GAME CASH / REWARDS. IF YOU NEED TO DETAIN THE HVI THEN THE HVI DOES NOT REQUIRE TO BE MEDIC'D (5 MINUTE BLEED OUT RULE STILL APPLIES BEFORE YOU CAN TAKE THE HVI THOUGH).

DETAINING:

IF YOU DETAIN A PLAYER OR HVI YOU MUST HOLD FOR A MAXIMUM OF 30 MINUTES. NOTE: DO NOT FORCE A PLAYER TO DO SOMETHING THEY DO NOT WISH TO DO! YOU CANNOT SEARCH A PLAYER. YOU MUST TELL THE PLAYER THAT ALL THEIR WEAPONS ARE OUT OF PLAY. COMMON SENSE IS KEY HERE! NO STRESS POSITIONS AND NO BAGGING OF PLAYERS.

FPS LIMITS:
AEGS/GBB RIFLE/PISTOL = MAXIMUM 370 FPS WITH (0.2G).        

BOLT ACTION SNIPER = MAXIMUM 500 FPS (0.2G).
DMR RIFLES LOCKED TO SEMI = MAXIMUM 450 FPS (0.2G).        

(25 METRE MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT RULE FOR ALL SNIPER / DMR RIFLES).

ALL WEAPONS WILL BE CHRONO’D BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF PLAY WITH 0.20G BB’S AND RANDOM CHRONO WILL TAKE PLACE THROUGHOUT THE EVENT. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR WEAPONS ARE WITHIN THE LIMITS. IF ANY WEAPON IS FOUND TO BE OVER THE FPS LIMIT IT MUST BE PLACED BACK IN THE PLAYER’S VEHICLE OR LEFT IN THE EVENT OFFICE UNTIL THE END OF THE EVENT. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. ANY PLAYER FOUND TRYING TO CHEAT THE CHRONO WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED FROM THE EVENT.

SINGLE SHOT FIRE / BUILDINGS / VEHICLES:
SINGLE SHOT MUST BE USED WHEN FIRING INTO AND OUT OF A BUILDING. SINGLE SHOT MUST ALSO BE USED ONCE INSIDE THE BUILDING. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE FULL AUTO IN AND OUT OF A BUILDINGS. SAME GOES FOR VEHICLES. NO FULL AUTO TOO AND FROM VEHICLES!

AMMO LIMITS:
THERE ARE NO AMMO LIMITS. PLAYERS CAN CARRY AS MUCH AS THEY WANT BUT CAN ONLY USE MID CAPACITY MAGAZINES UNLESS USING A SUPPORT GUN. A SUPPORT GUN IS RECOGNISED AS THE SAME IN THE REAL STEEL WORLD. MINIMI, PKM ETC. AN M4 WITH A DRUM MAG IS NOT A SUPPORT WEAPON!

DRESS CODE:
TEAM DRESS CODE MUST BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES. TEAM COLOURS ARE DISTINCT AND MUST BE WORN VISIBLY DURING THE EVENT. CIVILIAN CLOTHING CAN BE WORN BUT MUST NOT BE ANY GANG/ OTHER TEAM COLOURS AND YOU CANNOT CARRY ANY WEAPONS. YOU CANNOT COMPLETE MISSIONS OR OBJECTIVES AS CIVILIANS AND EXPECT TO BE ARRESTED IF YOU GET CAUGHT DOING ANYTHING ... DODGY!

PYRO:
ONLY PYRO PURCHASED AT THE GANGSTA CITY EVENT WILL BE ALLOWED. PYRO IS AVAILABLE ONSITE FROM THE SHOP.  TIMED / IMPACT GRENADES LIKE TRMR  AND DYNATEX  WITH PRIMERS AND 9MM ONLY. NO 12G AND NOTHING HIGHER THAN A MK7!

LAUNCHED / TAG ROUNDS:
TAG ROUNDS ARE THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE LAUNCHED PYRO FOR STOPPING VEHICLES BUT MUST BE FIRED AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE AND NOT DIRECTLY AT THE VEHICLE. A  TAG ROUND LANDING WITHIN 1 METRE OF THE VEHICLE IS AN INSTANT KILL FOR EVERYONE INSIDE THE VEHICLE AND MUST STAY IN THE STATIONARY VEHICLE FOR 10 MINUTES UNTIL BLEED-OUT. AFTER 10 MINUTES YOU CAN RETURN TO YOUR FOB WITH YOUR GANG VEHICLE FOR RE-SPAWN WITH MARSHAL ADVANCEMENT. NOTE: GRENADES DO NOT EFFECT VEHICLE MOVEMENT.

SMOKE:
SMOKE IS FOR SCREENING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY OTHER IN GAME EFFECT. NO SMOKES ARE TO BE USED INSIDE THE BUILDINGS, OUTDOOR ONLY. TAG ROUND SMOKE VELLUMS ARE ALLOWED.

GAME EFFECT PYRO:
ANY OTHER PYRO WHICH HAS ANY IN GAME EFFECTS WILL BE USED AND CONTROLLED BY A MARSHAL, THE MARSHAL WILL INFORM THE PLAYERS EFFECTED AND TO WHAT NEXT. NO TRIP WIRES, REMOTE DETS OR BOOBY TRAPS ALLOWED.

VEHICLES & DRIVING:
VEHICLES WILL ONLY BE DRIVEN BY AN AUTHORISED DRIVER. THE SPEED LIMIT IS 5MPH. NO VEHICLE IS TO GO OFF ROAD. ANY VEHICLE REVERSING MUST HAVE A HI-VIS MARSHAL WATCHING THEM BACK UP.  ALL DOORS MUST BE CLOSED AND NO ONE IS TO HANG ON THE OUTSIDE OF THEM.

IF THE DRIVER IS SHOT THE DRIVER MUST STOP THE VEHICLE AND EXIT THE VEHICLE AND AWAIT A MEDIC. ANYBODY LEFT IN THE VEHICLE CAN FIGHT WHILE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY OR THE DRIVER IS SUCCESSFULLY MEDIC'D OR REPLACED WITH ANOTHER DESIGNATED DRIVER.  IF A PASSENGER IS SHOT THEY ARE TO STOP FIRING AND ALSO BE REMOVED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER / PLAYER MUST BE MEDIC’D OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE ONLY. IF THE VEHICLE IS EMPTY THE GANG FROM THAT VEHICLE MUST WAIT 10 MINUTES BEFORE ENTERING THE VEHICLE. THE GANG THEN RETURN TO THEIR FOB FOR IMMEDIATE RE-SPAWN WITH MARSHAL ADVANCEMENT. NO PYRO IS TO BE THROWN IN OR UNDER ANY VEHICLE. IF THESE VEHICLE RULES ARE NOT FOLLOWED WE WILL PULL THEM FROM PLAY.

IF THE VEHICLE IS EMPTY THE GANG FROM THAT VEHICLE MUST WAIT 10 MINUTES BEFORE ENTERING THE VEHICLE. THE GANG THEN RETURN TO THEIR FOB FOR IMMEDIATE RE-SPAWN WITH MARSHAL ADVANCEMENT. IF THESE VEHICLE RULES ARE NOT FOLLOWED WE WILL PULL THEM FROM PLAY.

SLEEPING & KIT:
SLEEP IN GAME. PLAYERS MUST WEAR THEIR EYE PROTECTION AT ALL TIMES AND IT MUST HAVE A BAND ON THE BACK TO HOLD THEM IN PLACE. YOU ARE NOT OUT OF GAME DURING SLEEP TIME IN THE PLAYING AREA. YOU WILL BE IN PLAY!

​

IF YOU WISH TO BE OUT OF GAME SLEEPING THEN WE RECOMMEND YOU SLEEP IN YOUR VEHICLE IN THE SAFE ZONE. YOU MUST INFORM YOUR COMMANDER BEFORE LEAVING AND ON RETURN TO THE GAMING AREA!  NOTE: WHILST OUTSIDE YOUR VEHICLE SAFETY GLASSES RULE STILL  APPLIES.

​

PLEASE KEEP YOUR SLEEPING KIT PACKED AND SECURE IN YOUR BUILDING WHEN NOT IN USE. WE RECOMMEND YOU STORE YOUR KIT UNDER YOUR BED. GANGSTA CITY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR KIT.

 

ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR ADEQUATE FOOTWEAR WHICH GIVES MAXIMUM ANKLE SUPPORT (I.E. BOOTS, NO TRAINERS!). PLAYERS ARE ALSO ADVISED TO WEAR FULL FACE MASKS HOWEVER SAFETY GLASSES TO BALLISTIC STANDARD EN166 CAN BE WORN AT THE PLAYERS OWN RISK BUT MUST COVER THE WHOLE OF THE EYE SOCKET INC THE SIDE.

EVERY PLAYER IS GIVEN A RUBBISH WASTE BAG UPON ARRIVAL. PLEASE USE THIS BAG FOR YOUR WASTE AND KINDLY TAKE IT HOME WITH YOU. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR RUBBISH BEHIND AFTER THE EVENT. 

​

  - NO FIXED BLADE OR KNIVES ARE ALLOWED.

  - NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON SITE.

  - NO SMOKING OR COOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE ANY OF THE BUILDINGS (PLEASE SEE MAP). 

  - DO NOT USE THE BUILDINGS AS A TOILET. TOILETS ARE LOCATED AROUND THE SITE.
  - PLAYERS MUST NOT ENTER BUILDINGS/AREAS WHICH ARE ‘OUT OF BOUNDS’.
  - NO WATER IS PROVIDED AT THIS EVENT. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN.

  - FOOD IS AVAILABLE FROM THE CATERING VAN DURING THE EVENT (ASK A MARSHAL FOR DETAILS).

PROPS:
WE SPEND A SMALL FORTUNE ON REALISTIC PROPS TO MAKE THESE EVENTS UNIQUE. PLEASE USE THEM WITH RESPECT AND HAND THEM BACK TO A MARSHAL WHEN NOT IN USE. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THE GC MONEY HOME AS A SOUVENIR! THIS COSTS THE GC TEAM REAL MONEY TO REPLACE!

MARSHAL DECISIONS ARE FINAL!
